This is the second of two “Humanities on the Edge” lectures during fall semester (the other is Oct. 11). The topic for what is the series’ third year is “Aesthetics/Performance/Politics.”

Dr. Lutz Koepnick is an Professor of German, Film and Media Studies, and Comparative Literature at Washington University in St. Louis.
