The Office of Research and Economic Development will host two one-hour informational sessions to help UNL applicants familiarize themselves with changes in the National Science Foundation’s new Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide, especially the Grant Proposal Guide. New procedures will apply to all NSF proposals due on or after Jan. 14, 2013.
Topics of discussion will include format changes for the Project Summary, new requirements for the Project Description, and other major changes to ensure compliant development of competitive applications. Representatives from the Office of Proposal Development and the Office of Sponsored Programs will be present to answer questions.
Registration for this event is not required. Faculty and staff who work with the development and submission of NSF proposals are encouraged to attend.

This workshop is designed to assist landowners, tenants, and other agri-business professions with issues related to farmland management and leasing arrangements. Participants will receive a set of materials about farm lease arrangements.
The University Health Center offers walk-in flu shot clinics - no appointments required. Flu shots are free for UNL students paying UPFF facility fees and $30 for faculty and staff. The UHC will file Blue Cross Blue Shield claims for faculty and staff members under the wellness benefit. You must have your insurance card at the time of vaccination in order to file a Blue Cross Blue Shield claim only. If you have used up your wellness benefit for the 2012 coverage period, you will be sent a bill from the UHC. The clinics will be held from 11:30am to 1pm on the following dates at:
