Provide information on transitioning to an organic farming system; develop Farmer’s Groups across the state to discuss production problems and successes. Develop an on-farm research component to help farmers conduct experiments to build confidence in their production and cultural practices. UNL Organic Working Group will share research projects and results. Organic Farmer panel, farmers will answer questions on: crop varieties, livestock, markets, buyers, weeds, crop rotations, green manures and cover crops.
