The UNL Garden Friends annual meeting and botanical lecture is scheduled for Sunday, April 1, 2012, 2:00-4:30 p.m., Nebraska Union, 14th & R Street. Our guest speaker will be Kelly Norris, horticulturist and author of Iowa Gardener's Travel Guide, who will present "Life on the Edge: Tough Plants for Tough Places".
2:00 pm-3:00 pmUNL Garden Friend Lecture April 1 NEBRASKA UNION
Kelly D. Norris, an up and coming horticulturist and plantsman from Iowa, will deliver the UNL Garden Friends annual lecture beginning at 2 p.m. April 1 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. The lecture, open to the public, costs $5 per person but is free for members of UNL Garden Friends.
3:00 pm-4:00 pmFaculty artist: David Neely KIMBALL RECITAL HALL
Faculty artist David Neely will give a violin recital on Sunday, April 1 at 3:00 pm in Kimball Recital Hall. This event is FREE and open to the public.
5:00 pmThe 11th Annual Czech Language Foundation Recognition Banquet East Campus Union
The Annual Czech Language Foundation Recognition Banquet will be held on April 1, 2012 in the ballroom of the East Campus Union.

Doors open at 4pm and the dinner buffet begins at 6pm.

Martin Pizinger, Press Attaché and Diplomatic Officer at the Czech Republic Embassy, will be the featured speaker.

7:00 pmMoulin Rouge: The Ballet LIED CENTER for PERFORMING ARTS
Dramatic and provocative, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet will seduce audiences with classical ballet’s telling of the most infamous cabaret in history. The Moulin Rouge was a place for the working-class, a haven for women of the night and the birthplace of the can-can. Kick off your April 2012 in Paris.

The April Fool's Day concert is CANCELLED. (No, this is not a joke.)

Hold on to your funny bone! Members of the School of Music faculty let their hair down in this annual crowd-pleaser concert. You never know what will happen. Just plan on having a good time.
Sunday, April 1 at 7:30 pm in Kimball Recital Hall. This is a fundraiser for Pi Kappa Lambda so a $3 donation is suggested.
