Observe and visit with members of the Lincoln Quilters Guild as they work on Quilts of Valor. Quilts of Valor Foundation is a non-profit organization formed to "cover our wounded soldiers, sailors and Marines one quilt at a time". Since its founding, about 23,000 donated quilts have been awarded to service members.

12:30 pm-3:30 pmPOSTPONED Let's Create! Fabric Monoprint and Dyeing for Adults International Quilt Study Center & Museum
POSTPONED to April 28th Participants will explore the exhibitions, "Tribute to Ardis James" and Jean Ray Laury, noting the design elements of art used. We will learn gelatin monoprinting on fabrics and paper and dye a silk scarf using permanent markers, alcohol inks and alcohol using designs inspired by the quilts. Each will make and take home fabrics, papers and a silk scarf they have created. Bring an apron or smock as the paint will stain clothing.

Class cost $18 members (plus $10 material fee) and $26 non-member (plus $10 material fee). For adults. Class size limited to 12 participants.

Items provided for the materials fee: silk scarf with rolled hem (8" x 54"), fabrics, papers, use of paints, printing plates, brayers, objects to create designs, permanent markers, alcohol, alcohol inks.

Participants may wish to bring their own fabrics for additional experimentation.

Under the guidance of the mysterious Duende, the Marionette breaks free from her Puppeteer, and embarks on a journey of self-exploration, awareness, and discovery beyond her wildest dreams. Told as a story, with powerful dancing, live music, lights and pure spectacle, This is Tango Now: Identidad brings audiences of all ages to their feet. Don’t miss this unique tango experience!

University Theatre presents "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940" by John Bishop. A wildly comic romp poking fun at the more ridiculous aspects of show biz by untangling the mystery of the Stage Door Slasher.

Performances are April 12-14 and 18-21 at 7:30 p.m. in Howell Theatre.

Season Passes
$50 regular; $40 faculty/staff and senior citizen
Each pass allows the pass-holder FOUR (4) admissions to any University Theatre production. Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Passes must be presented at the Ticket Office to redeem for tickets to specific performances. RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED for performances.
