Every instructor at UNL already has Blackboard web space. You will be introduced to the teaching and learning features of MyUNL from the student and instructor perspectives.
Learn hands-on how to use the Assignment feature in Blackboard to effectively manage documents received from students. You will learn how to create an assignment as an instructor in Blackboard and how students submit assignments back to the course.
Instructors can create groups within their Blackboard course to allow students to collaborate on projects and assignments. Groups have their own area in Blackboard that can include tools exclusive to each particular group. Learn how groups can be created individually and how multiple groups can be created at once.

Learn how to create a test, question types, and how to make a test available for students. Also look at setting test options, how to view grades and the statistics. Get a hands-on introduction to the assessment function, with a focus on creating and grading tests. You will first take a test as a student, becoming familiar with how tests will appear to their own students. Then, turning to the instructor perspective, you will learn how to create and deploy a test and review the student results.
