Learn the basics of adding and managing grades in the Grade Center.

Get a hands-on introduction to the assessment function, with a focus on creating and grading tests. You will first take a test as a student, becoming familiar with how tests will appear to their own students. Then, turning to the instructor perspective, you will learn how to create and deploy a test and review the student results.
Learn how to create and host meetings with Adobe Connect. This session will take you from creating meetings to viewing meeting recordings. You will also learn tips for improving meeting performance.

Adobe Presenter is FREE for UNL faculty and staff and easy to install (Windows only).
Adobe Presenter gives you an additional toolbar in PowerPoint allowing you to create dynamic Flash materials that you can post online for your students.
University Communications will review new communications campaigns during the "Brand Summit 2012," 1 to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 15. The session, which is open to all staff and faculty who have a role in communications, is in the Gaughan Multicultural Center, room 202 (Ubuntu room).
The update will feature recent communications campaigns designed to help UNL meet goals in the areas of recruitment, retention and alumni engagement.
