Composer Diana Blom will present a recital on Thursday, Jan 31 at 7:30 pm in Kimball Recital Hall.
UNL Guest artist, composer Diana Blom will be featured in a lecture recital on Contemporary Australian Art Song. She will be assisted by UNL faculty Dr. Kevin Hanrahan, tenor and Dr. Jamie Reimer, soprano.
Dr. Diana Blom is Associate Professor of Music and Director of Academic Program at the University of Western Sydney.
Dr. Blom has vast experience as a composer, teacher, and performer, and represents an ideal model for the composer/performer in the 21st century. She plays the piano and is a member of a chamber trio which performs contemporary and other classical repertoire for voice, cello and piano.
