Sheldon welcomes all for a community conversation in conjunction with the exhibition “Encounters: Photography from the Sheldon Museum of Art.”
Together we’ll examine the role of photography in our everyday lives and address questions related to the main themes of the exhibition, which include encounters between and across cultures; rites of passage; and nature and the built environment.
Prior knowledge of the exhibition or photography in general is welcome but not necessary. Come willing to talk, listen, and look with other participants. We encourage you to bring one meaningful photograph to share.
