Education candidates seeking initial certification should attend Professional Development Day (offered each semester) for specific information on the Education job search. Topics include Career Services' Husker Hire Link, web resources for the education job search, education resumes and cover letters, interviewing strategies, establishing self-managed application materials, salary/contract negotiation, and Nebraska certification application. Professional Development Day is a release day from student teaching and should be attended by those who are currently in their job search.

The Chancellor's University Safety Committee meets quarterly to review injury incidents and potential safety and health concerns. The committee’s charge is to advise UNL administration on methods and means of minimizing safety and health hazards at UNL to the extent feasible. If you have questions or concerns relating to campus safety contact the CUSC Chair, Beth Whitaker.
