Features of the upgrade include a simplified user interface, as well as new features like test item analysis, more robust text editing and an improved discussion board. An additional new feature is a "Video Anywhere" button which allows the instructor to turn on their webcam to record and embed announcements in their courses. Popular existing features have also been retained in the service pack 11 upgrade.
Blackboard will receive a system upgrade and WILL BE UNAVAILABLE Saturday, May 11, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. No access, including the grade center, will be available during the window.
