Discuss 2010 drug plans available. Make an appointment with Mary Ann Holland, Extension Educator and trained SHIIP Volunteer. Bring along your Medicare card and a list of your prescription drugs. Open enrollment for 2010 is only available from November 15 to December 31, 2009.

4:00 pm Nov 23rd4-H Bowling Pin-Setter Lanes
Any 4-H youth who is 4-H age 8 - 18 can sign up to register for 4-H Bowling. This league will run from October - March and will end with a Tournament for ribbon and trophy placement. The cost is $4.00 per week which includes 2 games and shoe rental. There is a limit of 32 youth and every year it fills up quickly so talk to your friends, call the Extension Office and reserve your spot today. In order for Pin-Setter Lanes to have time to set up the names in their system, the registration deadline is Friday, October 9th. We hope to see you soon!!

All 4-H volunteers, volunteers from other agencies, youth development professionals, parents and staff are invited to attend the upcoming Holiday Heart & Hands program. This educational program will provide ideas and inspiration for those who work with youth and will be presented by UNL Extension 4-H Youth Development Educators. Five program sites are scheduled across the state. Program topics include Digital Storytelling, Engaging Older Youth, RX for Text Bullying, and Idea Stations. Advisory groups meet every two years to help focus, build, and review the Junior Livestock, Horse, Cat/Small Animal, Rabbit & Poultry programs offered in Saline County.

All meetings are at 7 pm in Wilber at the Ext. Office.

If you have ideas or comments that can help us as we review and improve each specie area, we would appreciate them. Bring your ideas or comments to the meeting(s). If you are unable to attend, please email your comments to estehlik2@unl.edu or rpryor1@unl.edu or mail them to our office. No phone calls, please. Written comments only.

We have begun building discussion agenda’s from the leader’s meeting and from items already submitted to us. If you don’t attend, you leave the decisions to those who are in attendance. Changes cannot be made once the fairbook is published.
