The “Moving Your Herd Forward” workshop will provide information on the following topics and a demonstration.
• Nebraska BQA: Animal Health Stewardship and Veterinary Feed Directive – Rob Eirich, Nebraska Extension Educator for Beef Quality Assurance
• Positioning Your Herd to Use Reproductive Technologies – Dr. Dave Hardin and Dr. Richard Randle, University of Nebraska School of Veterinary Medicine
• Cattle Working Facilities Tour and Demonstration – BQA, Bud Box, Sorting Cattle, etc.
The cost of the program is $25 per person if registered by March 21, or $40 per person after March 21. Registration fee is payable at the door and includes lunch, handouts and BQA certification fee.
