Eberhard O. Voit, Professor and David D. Flanagan Chair in Systems Biology, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University Medical School, will present the seminar “Computational Systems Biology: From Simple Models to System Simulation and the Discovery of Design Principles” on Tues. Jan. 29, 2013 at 4:00 PM in N172 Beadle Center.

Voit’s research interests lie in the area of complex biomedical systems and their computational analysis. In particular, he has been involved with the development and application of Biochemical Systems Theory for thirty years. Work in his lab presently focuses on genomic, metabolic, and signaling systems with applications reaching from microbial and plant systems to human diseases.
