The new facility will be located at 14th and Vine Streets with construction scheduled to begin mid-March. The new building will open prior to the fall 2017 semester.

The new $84 million, 240,000-square-foot College of Business Administration building is the largest academic building project in the recent history at UNL. Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects of New York and Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture of Omaha, the building will allow the Big Ten college of business to offer interactive learning in state-of-the-art classrooms, including a finance classroom featuring a real-time stock market ticker. It will also enable one-stop student support services, cutting-edge technology and space to host many events in the future.

Scheduled speakers at the groundbreaking ceremony include:
•Dr. Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of the College of Business Administration
•Harvey Perlman, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Chancellor
•Jim Linder, Interim University of Nebraska President
•Howard Hawks, University of Nebraska Regent
•Brian Hastings, NU Foundation President and CEO
•Tonn Ostergard, CBA Capital Campaign

CBA students, alumni, donors and business partners are invited to attend.
