The Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders invites students, faculty and staff to a free workshop featuring the nationally respected Hanen Program for facilitating parent child interaction.
The Hanen Program for Parents is called “It Takes Two to Talk.” It is a family-focused early language intervention for young children with expressive and/or receptive language disorders. Its purpose is to empower parents to become their child’s primary language facilitator, thereby maximizing the child’s opportunities for communication development in everyday situations.
