Gayle Strege, Curator of Historic Costumes and Textiles Collections, Ohio State University will give a public lecture, “Notes on a Collection.” The lecture is being presented in conjunction with the exhibition “Modernism and Romanticism: An American Design Approach” featuring the fashion designers Bill Blass, Geoffrey Beene and Oscar de la Renta, which are currently on exhibition in the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery on East Campus. A public reception sponsored by the Friends of the Robert Hillestad Textiles Gallery will follow the lecture outside the gallery on the second floor of the Home Economics Building.

Free and open to the Public. Non-metered parking will be available for free during the lecture and reception in the lot north of the East Campus Union.
