After a summer of highly publicized social justice issues in society, more people are joining the conversation about what can be done. Spend the noon hour at this presentation for some ideas about how you telling your story can be part of your everyday social justice work.

Aeriel and Kyle Ashlee bring their different-lived experiences to life in order to help people understand how stories can have power to create social change. They will speak about their ideas presented in the book VITAL: A Torch for Your Social Justice Journey. The premise of their work is that social justice work is hard and can feel overwhelming but that there are simple steps, using your own personal experiences, that can empower you in the fight for equity.

The presentation is free and open to the public and is hosted by the Department of Educational Administration and co-sponsored by the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services and the Faculty Senate Convocations Committee.
