Private Pesticide Training: Attendance will renew and certify individuals for a license, apply and purchase “Restricted Use Pesticides” for three years. Check your certification card, and if it expires in 2013, you need to be recertified and licensed. If you are not certified to purchase and apply restricted use pesticides, initial certification may also be accomplished at the training session. There is a $30 training fee and the training sessions will last about three hours. An individual may recertify or do initial certification with a self-study guide at a cost of $60.00.
