The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will be teaching the ServSafe Manager Training Program for food service managers and employees May 17-18 at Scottsbluff in the Bluestem Room at the UNL Panhandle Research and Extension Center, 4502 Avenue I.
Registrations are due by May 2. Find a registration form or more information at http://extension.unl.edu/statewide/dawes/ or contact Nebraska Extension at 308-432-3373 or Jamie Goffena at jgoffena2@unl.edu.
The class will run from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Check-in will start at 8:30 a.m. on May 17.
Providing safe food to customers is an ultimate goal of restaurants and food services. The ServSafe® Manager Training is the industry leader for food service training and is part of the National Restaurant Association Management Certification Program. More than 1 million food service managers and employees have been certified through ServSafe®.
Participants will receive the latest edition of ServSafe® Manager book, materials, refreshment and lunch. They also may take the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification exam at the conclusion of the training on May 18 at 3:00 p.m.
