The theme for this month’s program is “Avoiding Complications from Diabetes”. Set a goal to take control of your diabetes. Aim for lower blood glucose levels to feel better now and stay healthy for years to come. Monday, June 9 topics that will be addressed during the two-hour program include: “Medications”, “Sleep Well Tonight”, and Sugar Substitutes & Sugar in Beverages.”

Class available via Distance Education on June 9 in eight locations, available across the state on June 25 via DVD presentations and after June 25 posted to the web and available 24:7. It will also be aired on Nebraska Educational TV Digital 2 in July and August.

Check with contact person, Debra Schroeder, for information and to see if it will be held at your local Extension office on June 25, 1:30 to 4:00 pm.
