Join us for an evening of great company and conversation as we celebrate the interplay between art and light. Excellent wine, delectable sweet and savory hors d’ oeuvres, delicious coffee and the opportunity to take home a beautiful work of art.
MEDICI celebrates the creative process, the wide range of working artists, the delight of collecting and sharing art with colleagues, friends and family members.
The annual MEDICI celebration provides an opportunity for art lovers to gather in the presence of fabulous food and wine, lively conversation and wonderful works of art.
MEDICI is a friends group that supports the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Since its inception 19 years ago, MEDICI has raised more than $185,000 for the department. Donated funds have been used to bring visiting scholars to the campus and to purchase kilns, presses, papermaking equipment, catalogs, and other amenities that contribute to first-rate art educational offerings for UNL students.
