All dayUNL Extension Program - Late Season Crop Management Diagnostic Clinic Agricultural Research & Development Center, near Mead

Agribusiness professionals and crop producers will take a close-up look at late season field conditions, research and techniques at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Crop Management Diagnostic Clinic on Aug. 20.

The UNL Extension clinic begins with 7:30 a.m. registration at the Agricultural Research and Development Center near Mead and starts at 8 a.m. Participants will meet at the August N. Christenson Research and Education Building.

Presenters include UNL faculty and private industry agronomists.

Topics include:  getting the most out of your nitrogen dollar; soybean management - creating higher potential yield; corn growth and ear development; effects of biostimulants/growth enhancers/anti-stress chemistries on soybeans and corn; irrigation management; and carbon sequestration report card.

Nine Certified Crop Adviser credits have been applied for and are pending for this clinic.

Cost for this clinic is $145 for those registering one week in advance and $195 after.

UNL Extension is in the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

Fulfills Guardian/Conservator education requirements set by the Nebraska Probate Code. Classes are approved by Nebraska Supreme Court. University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension offers quarterly Guardian/Conservator education classes in all Judicial Districts other than Douglas County*. Monthly classes are offered in Lancaster County. This class provides participants with detailed information in serving as Guardian or Conservator for others. Most classes are co-taught by a volunteer attorney through the Nebraska State Bar Association who answers general legal questions. Please call local contact person at least two days ahead of date of training. Registration fee is $15 cash/check payable to University of Nebraska-Lincoln at the class.
