Join horticulturist Emily Levine for twice-a- month walking tours of Maxwell Arboretum on East Campus -- the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month. The first tour is April 12. This year we will continue to examine and learn about the woody and herbaceous plants of the arboretum, their botanical characteristics, care and maintenance, as well as their place in history, folklore, and the arts. Students can supplement their formal horticultural education, faculty and staff can gain more knowledge about their campuses’ gardens, homeowners can get ideas for their own yards, and everyone can appreciate the beauty and science of the plants in the arboretum.
