In early May, the Communication and Expressive Arts work team hosted a photography workshop for those who teach and work with youth in the area of photography. Additional resources, including an online photo gallery and social networking community, will be shared for anyone who is interested in participating during the web seminar, "Behind the Lens: Supplemental Resources to Teach Youth about Photography."
You will need to have a computer with Internet access and a phone to participate. At the meeting time, simply click on the following link or copy and paste it into your browser to enter the meeting: http://connect.extension.iastate.edu/nebraska
When you go to that URL you will find yourself at a login page. Simply click on "Click to Enter" under the "Enter as a guest" heading. You will then be prompted for your name. Enter your name and click "Enter" to enter the meeting space.
Next, instructions that detail how to join the integrated phone audio conference will be on the screen when you join the meeting. PLEASE NOTE: When joining the audio portion of the web seminar, you will be shown a screen that says "How would you like to connect to the meeting's audio?" The two options are to 1) dial in to the meeting via phone or other device, or 2) receive a call from the meeting (dial out) - insert phone number). If possible, please select Option 2 and place your phone number in the box that is provided; you will then automatically receive a call from the Iowa State Adobe Connect phone bridge system, and you will be connected to the web seminar. This option eliminates the number of duplicate attendees that are shown on the web seminar, as Iowa State has to match phone numbers with names when attendees join via Option 1.
Anytime before the meeting, you can visit the following URL to confirm your ability to connect to the Breeze server: http://breeze.extension.iastate.edu/common/help/en/support/meeting_test.htm
