On August 5, plan to attend a tour of some of Lincoln's finest Green Infrastructure. Tour stops will include rain gardens, green roofs, constructed wetlands, bioswales, porous concrete and a stop along the Antelope Valley project.
We will begin the tour at the Lower Platte South NRD, 3125 Portia Street Lincoln, NE. Cost is $15.00 per person and includes chartered bus, box lunch, drinks & handouts.

This is a continuation of the Nebraska SARE Webinar Series which began last year. Sam Wortman, UNL PhD candidate in Agronomy, will present information on general benefits of cover crops, cover crop selection and management, cover crop research in Nebraska (since 1980), reduced and no-till organic systems with cover crops and cover crop mixtures.
