University of Nebraska–Lincoln Extension Mid-Plains BEEF Educational Series begins in June at the UNL Agricultural Research and Development Center (ARDC) near Mead, Nebraska. The Mid-Plains BEEF Educational Series is an effort by a team of southeastern Nebraska Extension Educators. Instruction will draw on the expertise of extension educators and specialists from across the state of Nebraska to share their beef cattle expertise with participants.


The program, designed for producers, veterinarians, college students, or persons involved in the beef industry, will help participants learn more about the systems approach to beef cattle production through these multi-session, hands-on learning experiences in beef production, economics and forage management.


The Mid-Plains BEEF Educational Series is a multi-session program. It begins June 13, 2012 and continues Nov. 29, 2012 and Jan. 31, 2013. Participants may choose to attend one or all three session. All sessions will provide hands-on learning.

Co-Parenting for Successful Kids is an unbiased, research based education class designed to help separating and divorcing parents cope with divorce and custody. Parents learn to answer the children's questions and keep their children safe and out of their conflict. Co-Parenting for Successful Kids strengthens communication skills that can improve interactions with children and the other parent.
