Monthly meeting of the Lancaster County Extension Board, regularly held the 2nd Friday of each month. Meetings are open to the public. The Lancaster County Extension Board provides assistance to University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension in Lancaster County staff in establishing and accomplishing extension education program goals and objectives. The board assists in developing an operating budget and local educational priorities. The extension board also serves as an advocate for extension. Annually, the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners appoints members of the community to serve on the Extension Board.
