All day	Lancaster County 4-H Horse VIPS Dressage Schooling Show Lowell Boomer’s historic facility The 4-H Horse VIPS Committee is hosting a Middle Cross Dressage Schooling Show. The show is a fundraiser for Horse VIPS and funds support the 4-H Horse program. It is an NDA-recognized show, so you can count these scores toward the end-of-year championship. Open to all youth and adults (need not be in 4-H).
9:00 am-4:00 pm	4-H Paws On Dog Clinic - Lincoln Lancaster Event Center If you have an interest in learning about dogs or want to better your show skills, plan on attending this 4-H statewide dog clinic. This workshop will cover obedience, showmanship, agility, grooming, health care, and much more. Fee is $15 per person and includes lunch. Adults may purchase lunch for an additional $5. 9:00 am-4:00 pm	Spring Affair- 2012 Lancaster Event Center Mark your calendar and plan to attend this great annual event, held at the Lancaster Event Center in Lincoln, NE. Admittance is free, and participants will find one of the largest selections of perennial plants anywhere! Plants, purchased from Bluebird Nursery Inc., are selected for their hardiness in Nebraska and for their past popularity. More than 700 different varieties of plants will be available. For the 2012 sale, plants range in cost from $3-$10 depending on pot size; with large specimens or rare specialty plants priced slightly higher. In addition, vendors selling garden art, sculpture, birdhouses and other items will be on hand. Educational programs will also be offered during the plant sale, and more information about this year's programs will be available soon, so check the website.
