The Robert Mittelstaedt Marketing Doctoral Symposium, modeled after the Haring Symposium held annually at Indiana University, invites participant schools to send doctoral students and faculty to Lincoln for a two-day Symposium emphasizing dissertation research by doctoral students.

Participant schools include University of Arkansas, University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign, University of Colorado, University of Iowa, Iowa State University, University of Kansas, Kansas State University, University of Michigan, University of Missouri, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, University of Oregon, Texas Tech University, University of Utah, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Washington State University and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
