The term “wet ink” refers to the process that composers used before they had computer software to aid in writing music. They would write music with a fountain pen and paper and new music could be premiered before the ink was even dry. The Wet Ink concert at UNL is a showcase for the undergrad and graduate composers to share brand new music in a wide variety of styles. Over the course of two nights there will be pieces for strings, choir, jazz combo, and much more; you are not going to find a more diverse program of music on any other concert at the University.

Additional Public Info:
Free and open to the public.
This performance will be live webcast: http://arts.unl.edu/music/webcasts.
