Oshibana Nebraska is a collection of flowers and other botanicals grown in Nebraska that have been dried and pressed to create stunning pieces of art. Some natural elements have been picked from the wild, while others have been gathered from a garden.

Suzanne has a deep love of nature and the outdoors and began her journey as an artist by taking landscape photography. One day while taking a picture of some dried grass, she found herself wanting to preserve it just as was, because it was so beautiful. Two years later and after many hours spent picking, cleaning, drying and pressing all types of flowers and botanicals, she is ready to share some of her creations with the world.

Suzanne Spiehs is a NIC Partner and an administrative coordinator for UNL Industry Relations.

This exhibition is located in the link, 2nd floor, at Nebraska Innovation Campus and is free and open to the public daily from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. through December 20.
