Planning a camping trip or sleepover in the back yard? Want to hide out so you can get a good night's sleep? Come to Sue's Camo Sewing Camp and make yourself a pair of camo pajama bottoms- pink camo for girls- green and tan camo for boys. You'll also sew an overnight tote or pillowcase from tan fabric with camo accents.
Cost of the camp is $15 (includes fabric, thread, patterns, and elastic). Pre-register at the Extension Office, hunt up sewing shears, pins, pin cushion, and your seam ripper and join Sue for two four-hour sewing sessions in June. The first day you'll make a tote or pillowcase and practice sewing straight seams, then make the PJ bottoms on the second day. The tote or pillowcase can be entered in Sewing for Fun and the pajama bottoms in the Clothing Level 1 at the 4-H style revue in your county. Dates have been set in all four counties.
