Growers can choose from a variety of fruit/vegetable production and marketing sessions led by Univ Ext horticulture specialists and experienced local growers. Topics include fruit trees, aronia berries, grapes, ethnic vegetable varieties, organic insect and pest control, and community supported agriculture strategies. Featured speakers include SDSU Professor John Ball with an overview of specialty crops and Tim Vala of Vala's Pumpkin Patch near Omaha, NE providing marketing tips.
