| 7:30 am | International Eye Opener Speaker Series NEBRASKA EAST UNIONDr. John DeFrain, Professor of Child, Youth and Family Studies, and Cooperative Extension Specialist, will give a short presentation of "Family Strengths: the Research, Practical Applications, and the International Network." Dr. DeFrain has organized family strengths conferences in Asia, Africa, Australia and Latin America as well as Lincoln, Nebraska. Following his presentation there will be opportunity for questions, answers and discussion. This speaker series is cosponsored by the UNL Emeriti Association and the Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources. All Emeriti, current faculty, students and the public are welcome. Rolls and coffee will be provided. |
