The Nebraska Association of Fair Managers is offering two $500 scholarships. One to a 4-H boy and one to a 4-H girl that are graduating seniors and are planning to continue their post high school education. Application available at the Extension office or online at address below. Look for Nebraska Association of Fair Manager's Scholarship AND STAATS Custom Award's Scholarship Application.
1:30 pm Dec 1stUNL Extension Guardian/Conservator Training - Madison County UNL Extension - Madison County
This class provides participants with detailed information in serving as Guardian or Conservator for others. Quick Reference Sheets, Inventory checklists, Annual Reporting forms and Proof of Possession forms are reviewed and explained in detail. Registration fee is $15. 6:30 pm Dec 1stA 4-H Experience - Hands on Fun! Our Savior Lutheran Church
All youth ages 8-12 and adults wanting to experience what 4-H is all about are invited to attend. This is a FREE event. Meal provided at 6:30 pm. Youth will participate in hands-on activities related to 4-H projects including foods, home environment, robotics and fun group activities. Adults will receive 4-H orientation - How to get the most out of your experience with 4-Hers and participate in hands-on activities that will engage young people. Pre-register by November 24.

If you have diabetes, here is a workshop designed to help you become updated on diabetes and Control Your Diabetes for Life!

4-H Clubs and organizations are encouraged to display a tree at the Fantasy Forest to showcase your club or organization. Registration is due November 30 to the Wayne Chamber office. Set up is December 2, 4-8 pm. Open to the Public: December 3, 5-8 pm and December 4, 9 am to noon.
6:00 pm Dec 3rdNortheast Arboretum Wreath Making Workshop Wayne County Courthouse
Wreaths will be made out of all natural material from the Arboretum. Cost is $12 ($5 if you are a member of the Arboretum). Space is limited to 12 participants. Please pre-register by December 1.
