Business leaders may not even realize it, but they frequently adopt military principles to lead their companies toward a more profitable future. In fact, military thinking pervades corporate America. Rik Barrera, assistant dean and COO of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business, and a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel with over 21 years of service, will break down nine key principles of war that can help any manager better understand market forces, team management, and ultimately–organizational success.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Executive Education program will host four spring Executive Power Lunches to share ideas and strategies to help solve today’s business challenges. Led by College of Business Administration faculty members, the lunches will be offered in Lincoln and Omaha.

Each 90-minute session costs $60, including lunch and parking. To register, visit http://cba.unl.edu/execeducation.
