Martha Florence, one of the founders of the Afrikan People’s Union at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, will lead a conversation about racial disparities and standing up for your rights.
As an instrumental leader on topics of inclusion and speaking up against discrimination, Florence recently shared her experiences with the Lincoln Journal Star and will further discuss the need to recognize and combat racism in present day. (You are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch.)
