In this two-hour workshop at Nebraska Innovation Studio (the makerspace at Nebraska Innovation Campus) you will learn how to finish the binding on your quilt by hand as well as a quick method for finishing your binding by machine!
The workshop will also cover:
+ How to cut and prepare your binding
+ How to bind using straight grain or bias binding to create perfectly mitered corners
+ How to create lump-free binding corners
+ How to attach your binding
+ The secrects of hand binding (which needles to use, how to tie a Quilter’s Knot, etc.)
+ Methods for finishing your binding on the back of your quilt
