Dean S. Karlan, professor of economics at Yale University and a research fellow at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will present “Randomizing Religion” as part of the Department of Economics Fall Seminar Series.
“Randomizing Religion” is a field experiment from the Philippines on a safety net program for the ultra-poor that includes a religious component. This event is open to everyone interested in the topic.
