Lance C. Perez and Presentacion Rivera, Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, will present a seminar titled: “Measuring the Cognitive Demand of Problems in an Undergraduate Electrical Engineering Course.” This presentation describes a method to assess the cognitive demand of problems posed in undergraduate electrical engineering courses. This analysis is part of a larger study to examine the gap between the cognitive demand of problems and the cognitive supply of the students attempting to solve them.
A simultaneous teleconference of this seminar will be available in 202 Hardin Hall on East Campus. Please contact Jenny.Dauer@unl.edu at least one day in advance of the seminar if you wish to participate in the teleconference.
Further information on this seminar series can be obtained at: www.unl.edu/dber.
