To celebrate the release of ‘Carnival of Contagion’, an exhibit celebration and book signing with veteran comics writer and artist Bob Hall will be 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 7 in Love Library South.
The temporary exhibit features enlarged poster prints of each page of the “Carnival of Contagion” comic, along with materials illustrating how the book was created. The event is open and free to the public.
“Carnival of Contagion” (published by University of Nebraska Press) combines fantasy with measles facts and history in a tale of the adventures of a group of young adults as they enter a viral world, run by a mysterious and malevolent carnival barker.
The exhibit and book signing event are in partnership with the Office of Research and Economic Development as part of the university’s fall research fair.
