Robert Keenan, associate professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Chicago, will present the seminar “Tail-anchored membrane protein biogenesis.”
Robert Keenan carried out his Ph.D. and postdoctoral research at UCSF, working with Robert Stroud and Peter Walter. His laboratory uses structural biology, cell biology and biochemistry to study the molecular mechanisms underlying membrane protein biogenesis and quality control.
