A public open house at Behlen Observatory begins at 7 p.m. Nov. 17.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature the start of the Leonid Meteor Shower as well as other celestial objects, including the Ring Nebula, Blue Snowball Nebula and Andromeda Galaxy.
Nebraska faculty and members of the Society of Physics Students will be available to answer questions and lead science demonstrations and talks.
