Family legends, sometimes called family lore, are a natural part of family history. Join us for Genealogy over Lunch for a discussion on how to analyze the lore for genuineness. Participants are invited to bring a “legend” they have in their family as well as any discoveries they’ve made about the accuracy of the legend. The discussion will be facilitated by Eva Bachman.

Genealogy over Lunch is a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family history, which meets every third Thursday of the month. The group welcomes all faculty, staff and students. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch.
