Join us for free food and cowboy ambiance as part of Lincoln’s First Friday Art Walk. Make GPAM your first stop as we close at 7 p.m.

Explore how this icon of American culture has been depicted over the last century through artworks selected from the permanent collection. Of note will be bronzes from renowned cowboy artists Charles M. Russell and Frederic Remington, paintings by Jackson Pollock, Thomas Hart Benton, and Olaf Wieghorst, and contemporary photography by Chuck Guilder and George Tuck.

Admission is always free. Parking is available at the Que Place parking garage at 11th and Q streets. Please share this event with anyone who may be interested!

The Great Plains Art Museum, 1155 Q St., Lincoln Neb., is open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
