Lars A Stole, David W. Johnson Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, will present “Menu Auctions and Influence Games with Private Information” as part of the Department of Economics Spring Seminar Series.

Stole earned bachelor degrees in political science and economics from the University of Illinois, a master of science in economics from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He studies strategic pricing, contracts and incentives theory, industrial economics and game theory. Stole’s research has appeared in the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Political Economy and Games and Economic Behavior.
