Join us for Lincoln’s First Friday Art Walk. The Museum will be open late, from 5-7 p.m.

On View:
“From Paint Brushes to Camera Lenses: Creative Women of the Great Plains”
Paintings, sculptures, drawings, and photographs from the permanent collection highlight the creative spirit of women artists. Artist such as Juane Quick-to-See Smith, Tonita Pena, Terry Evans, Hulleah J. Tsinhnahjinnie, Martha Pettigrew, and Anne Burkeholder are just a few of the artists featured.

Art & Poetry of the Barada Hills (closes Oct. 20!)
Watercolor paintings by John Frederick Lokke paired with poems by Jan Chism Wright tell a story about the rolling hills of southeast Nebraska through images and words.

This event is free and open to the public. There is usually parking in the Que Place garage. Visit us first as we close at 7 p.m.! Please share this event with anyone who might be interested.
