For nearly 70 years, NHRI has been developing the next generations’s top leaders. How? By pairing outstanding college student leaders one-on-one with 1st-12th grade student leaders in strengths-based mentoring relationships.

NHRI primarily seeks Freshman and Sophomore students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (with a few students from Nebraska Wesleyan). The purpose of selecting students early in their college career is to give them at least two years to develop a strong relationship with their Junior Counselor.

NHRI seeks outstanding leaders who have high human relations capital (the capacity to positively influence and develop relationships with others), allowing them to maximize the strengths of their Junior Counselor.

All interested students can attend an information session conducted by the NHRI Interviewers, Cassidy Taladay and Molli Hagge. Cassidy & Molli will hold information sessions to inform prospective students about NHRI and the process of becoming a counselor, and will schedule interviews with interested students following each information session.

For more information before the interest session, contact Cassidy at ctaladay@gmail.com or Molli at mollihagge@gmail.com.
