New Farmers
New Farmers is a collaborative research project between photographer D. Bryon Darby, designer Tim Hossler, and sociologist Paul Stock. An observation of today’s independent farmer, the project merges visual images with the print media of newspapers to explore and discuss contemporary farming. New Farmers aims to tell the story and empower the diversity of a new breed of first-generation, small-scale, sustainable farmer. (Brought to you by Humanities Nebraska)

From Paint Brushes to Camera Lenses: Creative Women of the Great Plains
Paintings, sculptures, drawings, and photographs from the permanent collection highlight the creative spirit of women artists. Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, Tonita Peña, Terry Evans, Hulleah J. Tsinhnahjinnie, Martha Pettigrew, and Anne Burkholder are just a few of the artists featured.
